    Similarities between Abraham Lincoln and John F. Kennedy.

    Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846. John F. Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946. * Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860. John F. Kennedy was elected President in 1960. Both were shot in the back of the head in the presence of their wives. * Lincoln was shot in the Ford Theater. Kennedy was shot in a Lincoln, made by Ford * Both wives lost their children while living in the White House. Both Presidents were shot on a Friday. * Lincoln’s secretary was named Kennedy. * Both were succeeded by Southerners named Johnson. * Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln, was born in 1808. Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908. * Lincoln was shot at the theater named ‘Ford.’ Kennedy was shot in a car called ‘Lincoln’ made by ‘Ford.’ Lincoln was shot in a theater and his assassin ran and hid in a warehouse. Kennedy was shot from a warehouse and his assassin ran and hid in a theater. * Booth and Oswald were assassinated before their trials.

    One of the smallest frogs

    One of the smallest frogs in the world has been discovered. The species was spotted inside and around pitcher plants in Malaysian rain forests on the island of Borneo, which is divided among Brunei, Indonesia, and Malaysia. The new species was announced Wednesday Aug 25th, but the frogs have been hiding in plain view for more than a century.

    Roly Poly

    The “roly poly” bug isn’t actually a bug! It’s a crustacean, like lobster, shrimp, and crab. Its official name is the “wood louse”, and technically it could survive just fine underwater.

    Allergic to WATER

    Teenager Ashleigh Morris can’t go swimming, soak in a hot bath or enjoy a shower after a stressful day’s work – she’s allergic to water. Even sweating brings the 19-year-old out in a painful rash. Ashleigh, from Melbourne, Australia, is allergic to water of any temperature, a condition she’s lived with since she was 14. She suffers from an extremely rare skin disorder called Aquagenic Urticaria – so unusual that only a handful of cases are documented worldwide. When Ashleigh gets wet her body explodes in sore, itchy red lumps that take about two hours to ease. She has to wash. But showering is a painful experience and she can only do it for a minute at a time.
